This group is in the process of being merged with the Walking Group - contact Mike Arstall for further information
Walkie Talkies is the easiest of all walking groups. A friendly group, most using public transport, or own cars if desired.
Walks are varied, but fairly easy, approx., 1.5 to 2 hours: 3 to 5 miles, Info including distance and terrain is sent out each month about ten days beforehand and are led by members who are happy to do a reconnoitre.
Walks are not difficult as more of a ‘Sunday afternoon’ stroll and chat, hence the title, often ending with a cuppa and/or snack 🍰☕️.
If you would like to come along do let one of the convenors or walk leader know, and we will look out for you! Of course don’t forget, appropriate footwear/water etc.!
In the meantime Happy Walking, wherever it may be!
Jan and Mike, your convenors
