PROJECT TEAM: Carol McCullough, Trudi Learmouth, Dave Parsons.
Administrator: UL Administrator
We have a member on the Exeter Animal Welfare & Ethical Review Group (Olwen Goodall)
The Exeter University Liaison Project is not a ‘group’ like other groups in Exeter u3a. All members of Exeter u3a are automatically members of the Exeter University Liaison Project, and can participate in any of the events and research opportunities which are offered.
The Project team makes mutually beneficial links with academics at the University to offer our members a wide variety of events: talks, workshops, participation in research, involvement in the University’s public engagement, interaction with students, etc. Increasingly we receive direct requests from University researchers and project administrators for members to participate.
Lectures, workshops, research projects etc. are advertised in the Newsletter and on the University Liaison webpage.
Our Administrator also keeps a mailing list of members who have shown interest in previous events, and details of forthcoming events are sent directly to those members. Sometimes events and other opportunities come up at short notice. If you would like to be included on this database, please email UL Administrator stating full name, membership number and contact email address.
On the 3rd of March 2016, Exeter U3A signed a formal Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Exeter.
A History of our Project can be found in Links
